Trout Fishing

When someone mentions fly fishing, trout is usually the first species that comes to mind. And the quality of trout fishing in the Southern Appalachians is some of the best! Whether chasing large rainbow and brown trout on the tailwaters of East Tennessee or fishing the small traditional freestone streams of Western North Carolina, trout fishing provides anglers with beautiful scenery, amazing fishing opportunities and great fun!

Smallmouth Bass Fishing

The southeast is one of the best areas in the world for chasing smallmouth bass as we are blessed with multiple blue ribbon SMB rivers. Pound for pound, they are considered one of the hardest-fighting freshwater fish. Typically the guides’ favorite and what ECO is best known for, bronzebacks provide excellent fishing all season and are perfect for fly fisherman as well as conventional anglers.

Musky Fishing

Muskellunge are legendarily known as “the fish of 10,000 casts!” They don’t call them that for nothing, but fishing with us can surely increase your opportunities for success. Musky are by far the most challenging species we fish for, but the most rewarding if you can stick it out. Just the sight of one is enough to send an angler into a frenzy! If you like the thought of hunting for one big fish all day, Muskies are the fish for you!
