The quality of trout fishing available to us in the Southern Appalachian Mountains has gone relatively unnoticed by many avid fishermen. Come discover the angling opportunities of the Southeast with us.

Watauga River

One of the Southeast’s “best kept secrets” for years, the Watauga is becoming a nationally discovered river. Once you fish the Watauga with us, you’ll see why. This river offers 24 miles of incredible Rainbow and Brown trout water. The Watauga is best suited for float fishing, but if you prefer wade fishing, there are many opportunities here.

South Holston River

If fishing for trophy trout is what your interested in, then the South Holston is for you. The fishery offers 14 miles of some of the most selective trout waters in the nation. Whether on a float trip or an all day wade trip, you will have opportunities to fish to monster Rainbows and Browns.

Catawba River

The Catawba River is NC’s very own tailrace flowing out of Lake James.  A beautiful 8 mile float with almost no civilization in sight all day.  The river is well stocked with trout so it is a wonderful place for a beginner or a seasoned pro.
