Avery County Native, Evan Merrill, (aka Snapper) has had a childhood filled with the streams and trails of the High Country. Whether he is running bird dogs, bow hunting, or rowing a boat, Evan has a keen sense of game strategies and a great willingness to teach others his well-earned skills. His intense passion for getting you to catch your next fish is one thing that separates him from many guides.
